Dugo odbrojavanje se sastoji od 13 baktuna, a svaki baktun se sastoji od 400 tuna (1 tun = 360 dana). Stoga jedan baktun iznosi 144 000 dana, tj, 394,3 godine po gregorijanskom kalendaru. Većina arheologa se slaže s tim da je početni datum trinaest baktuna 11.kolovoz 3114.pr.n.e., te ako tom datumu dodamo 13 baktuna, dolazimo do 21.12.2012. – kraja dugog odbrojavanja.

Drugi link je ok. Ovaj njihov zadnji mjesec od 5 dana, je analogno zadnjem Sumerskom mjesecu što bi u pravilu bio 13. mjesec, kojeg su uvodili kao rješenje za prestupne godine. 13. mjesec u Sumeru nije bio svake godine, imao je svoju simboliku kao i ostali s astrološke strane. Osobe rođene u 13. mjesecu navodno su imale peh, i općenito smatran je nesretnim razdobljem. Mislim da petak 13. vuče korjene iz Sumerskog kalendara, pa time i današnja rasprava o uvrštavanju 13. znaka u zapadnu astrologiju.

Analogija je ogromna.

Sumerani su imali kalendar od 360 dana, i razliku od 5 su ispravljali svake 6. godine uvodeć ovaj 13. mjesec (simbol Gavran), koji je smatran nesretnim i nisu vršili nikakve rituale. Znači skroz slično onom opisu koji sam izvukao iz tvog linka.

Mada većina govore da je Mayanski najtočniji, nisam arheolog da utvrdim koja je civilizacija naprednija ili drevnija

Haab je oznaka za mjesec, sad sam našla u knjizi.
